Why We Give Back

Our business depends on healthy land, the pastures where our cattle and bison graze. But we believe in something bigger than our own supply chain.

Regenerative family farms produce healthy private land ecosystems. But America's public lands are a shared inheritance too. National forests, wilderness areas, wildlife refuges, rivers, and grasslands belong to all of us. They provide habitat for wildlife, clean water for communities, and open space for recreation.

That's why we commit 1% of our revenue (not profit) to two areas that reflect our values: conservation of American public lands and open-source Bitcoin development.

This isn't marketing. It's built into how we operate.

Where the Money Goes

Our 1% Commitment is split between two focus areas:

Conservation of Public Lands
Organizations that advocate for keeping public lands in public hands. Groups working to protect and restore habitat for native wildlife. Efforts that protect rivers, streams, and the landscapes that support healthy water systems. We're inspired by conservation-minded communities that transcend politics.

Open-Source Bitcoin Development
Bitcoin represents individual sovereignty, the ability to own and control your own resources without depending on institutions. Open-source development ensures this technology remains accessible to everyone, controlled by no one. It is a form of digital commons.

We believe in self-reliance, personal responsibility, and systems that empower individuals. Both conservation and Bitcoin embody those values.

A Shared Worldview

Conservation and Bitcoin might seem unrelated. Here's the connection:

Both are about protecting commons and empowering individuals. Public lands belong to everyone. Bitcoin's open-source code belongs to everyone. Neither is controlled by a single entity. Both require active stewardship.

The same worldview that leads us to source from regenerative family farms leads us to care about wilderness and wild ecosystems. and to support tools that give people control over their own financial lives.

We're building a company for people who think independently about their health, their money, and their relationship to the systems around them.

Transparency

We want to be transparent about how our 1% Commitment works:

1% of revenue (not profit) is allocated to conservation and open-source Bitcoin development. We're building toward a formal giving structure and plan to publish a detailed breakdown of recipient organizations as the program grows.
